Balkan overlap with Iberians is nothing unusual, more so Spanish than Portuguese I think and probably most common in the Basque areas.  True slavic-looking types are harder to come by.

David Villa (L) and Adrian Lopez (R) can pass in both Greece and Albania IMO

I think he did as well. At any rate, there is definitely overlap between these 2 groups. Some Spaniards (and Basques) can look Albanian as well.

Very few of these look specifically Balkan. I often see Iberian tourists here (recently they come in big numbers, don't know why) and they are easy to recognize in groups. On individual basis they usually can pass.

A really Balkan looking (especially Romanian and Bulgarian) is this Portuguese rapper, DDY Nunes. I thought he is Romanian when I saw him in a music video of a Romanian song, but according to Wikipedia he is Portuguese.

^I guess we have not the expert eye just like when people on TA say that an Italian looks from Balkans and usually doesn't then.

It would be interesting to ear more opinions of real Balkan people on the matter, but as Italian threads go they are only filled with Iberobeduins making their claims usually.

If you want to hear non-biased and non-trolling opinions, Apeshity certainly isn't the correct place for this. To begin with, for them an Italian look does not exist, Italians look French or Austrian in the north, Lebanese and Syrian in the south, and Balkan in Abruzzo and Apulia.

Iberians and Greeks have overlap IMO, and finding Greek-looking Iberians wouldn't be as hard as finding Bulgarian-looking Iberians.

I know a girl who is half-Spanish, half-Bulgarian and to my eyes looks really Spanish, even more than her Spanish mother. Is there a way to post her for classification without her photos being visible to non-registered members?

Yes there is plenty of overlap between Greeks and Iberians, that's the mediterranean connection.  Abuka posted a great example in Adrian Lopez.

With other Balkan peoples it's less obvious yes.  I remember the great Bulgarian football team from around 1994 to 98 - a lot of those players would pass in Spain, others probably not.  This guy looks like a common Northeastern Spaniard to me...  I can imagine him in an Athletic Bilbao shirt.

Yep, that's what i meant, i would like to ear more opinions of real Balkan people when Sick-Eliot or Iberians make their claims.

I agree that Greeks and Iberians overlap mostly because  other Balkanians are usually more cro-magnoid and more robust too.

I see that too.  I think Basques overlap with Balkanites quite a lot.
